The tournament will be played using official Nintendo Switch consoles and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate with all downloadable content (DLC) fighters and stages approved by Tournament Administration. Tournament Administration reserves the right to modify the bracket, match order, or tournament format if required due to operational, broadcast, or competitive reasons.

All matches will follow the official VBG Super Smash Bros. Ultimate ruleset. Unless otherwise announced:

Stage Selection
- ✓The opening game will begin using the official stage striking procedure.
- ✓Following each game: winning player must keep the same character; losing player may change character; winning player bans the required number of stages; losing player selects the next stage from the remaining legal stages.
- ✓Tournament Administration may update the legal stage list if Nintendo releases balance or competitive updates before the event.
- ✓Players must meet the minimum tournament age requirement established by the Organizer and applicable local laws.
- ✓Only registered competitors may participate. Player substitutions are not permitted after bracket publication unless approved by Tournament Administration.
- ✓Players must complete tournament check-in before the published deadline.
- ✓Tournament schedules, check-in times, and match times may be updated at any time. Players are responsible for monitoring official tournament announcements.
- ✓Players must report to their assigned tournament setup immediately when called.
- ✓Failure to appear within the designated reporting time may result in a game loss, set loss, or disqualification.
- ✓Players must use tournament-approved controller configurations.
- ✓Players are responsible for bringing any adapters, converters, or controllers they intend to use.
- ✓Wireless controllers must be disconnected immediately after each match to prevent interference with other tournament stations.
- ✓Players may configure controller buttons before each match but may not intentionally delay tournament operations.
- ✓Intentional pausing during gameplay is prohibited unless explicitly authorized by Tournament Administration.
- ✓If an accidental pause occurs, Tournament Administration will determine whether the game should continue, restart, or be awarded based on the match circumstances.
- ✓Coaching is only permitted between games if specifically allowed by Tournament Administration. Coaching during active gameplay is prohibited.
- ✓Players may not intentionally stall gameplay or abuse game mechanics to avoid legitimate competition.
- ✓The use of modified consoles, modified controllers that provide gameplay automation, macros, turbo functions, or unauthorized hardware is prohibited.
- ✓Players must not intentionally exploit glitches, bugs, or unintended game mechanics that provide an unfair competitive advantage.
- ✓Tournament Administration may request players to demonstrate controller functionality before or during the event.
- ✓Players are responsible for ensuring their controller operates correctly before beginning a match.
- ✓Tournament Administration reserves the right to modify tournament procedures, schedules, or match formats whenever necessary to preserve competitive integrity.
- ✓Violation of tournament rules may result in warnings, game losses, set losses, disqualification, prize forfeiture, or suspension from future VBG events.
- ✓By participating, players acknowledge and agree to these Tournament Rules, Nintendo's Community Tournament Guidelines, and all rulings made by Tournament Administration.
Strictly Prohibited Actions
Cheating through modified hardware, software, macros, turbo functions, or gameplay automation.
Using unauthorized controllers or hardware that provide an unfair competitive advantage.
Tampering with Nintendo Switch consoles, tournament equipment, monitors, docks, or networking equipment.
Intentionally disconnecting controllers or interfering with another player's equipment.
Coaching during active gameplay unless explicitly permitted.
Match fixing, collusion, intentionally throwing matches, or manipulating tournament results.
Harassment, bullying, threats, discrimination, or hate speech.
Offensive player names, tags, costumes, branding, or inappropriate language.
Sexual harassment or inappropriate physical contact.
Stream sniping, unauthorized communication during matches, or receiving outside assistance.
Damaging tournament property or interfering with broadcast production.
Delaying tournament progression through intentional stalling or refusing to play.
Intentionally pausing gameplay to gain an advantage.
Exploiting software bugs or unintended mechanics.
Providing false information during tournament investigations.
Gambling, bribery, or attempting to influence tournament officials.
Any illegal activity under the laws of the State of Qatar.
Any conduct deemed detrimental to the integrity or reputation of the tournament.

Serious violations involving cheating, collusion, harassment, violence, or refusal to cooperate with an investigation may result in immediate disqualification. All Tournament Administration decisions are final.

Disclaimer: This tournament is organized independently by Virtuocity Battleground (VBG) and Leisure LLC. This event is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or affiliated with Nintendo, Super Smash Bros., or any of their affiliates.
By participating, players agree to comply with the Tournament Rules, Nintendo's Community Tournament Guidelines, and all rulings issued by Tournament Administration.
Players also grant Leisure LLC the right to photograph, record, livestream, and otherwise use their name, gamertag, likeness, gameplay footage, voice, interviews, and event appearances for broadcast, promotional, archival, and marketing purposes without additional compensation, unless prohibited by applicable law.
